Absolutely stunning location and close enough to Male to access more easily than many other resorts. The buffet breakfast and dinner (we did half board) were delicious and varied. The free snorkelling trip each day was awesome, but ultimately the turtle snorkel trip offered by the dive centre (paid) was way better with healthier reefs, unbelievable numbers of fish and many other incredible marine life (we saw rays, sharks, and turtles). Snorkelling around the island itself was also beautiful and the waters are shallow throughout making it easy and safe for children and less confident swimmers to enjoy. Sitting on the beach at the Nevi bar, enjoying the breeze and the sound of the waves was pure bliss. The room and view were beautiful and the outdoor shower (private) was cool. Staff were extremely friendly and always happy to help make your holiday special! We travelled during the "rain season" (July) but had gorgeous weather the entire stay!

This was our 3rd return to Bandos Resort. The perfect location, the excellent house reef and the hospitality of the staff are the reasons we keep returning. This resort is excellently managed and it shows in every aspects. I would specially highlight the Sea Breeze staff and the Pool Bar staff as excellent professionals. Special applause to Aditye and Surej at the pool bar! Also I was really impressed how the wifi quality improved since our last visit. Now you could even watch movies online. Our accomodation was the Beach Villa. Good news to future travellers, that now all Beach Villas are finished with reconstruction, the quality, freshness of design is superb. The bed was extremely comfortable, I would rate it as the best ever I have experienced in a hotel. I had zero problem with my neck herniation during the whole stay of 10 days. View to ocean also got significantly better from these Villas, as renovation also included gardening renewal.

The property is very clean and cosy. Close to the bikini beach (overall the island is small and completely walkable). Breakfast was included and we also got to try the local Maldivian breakfast- all home cooked and clean. We had a buggy transportation for our luggage to & from the port and the property and they also helped us book the speedboat to Malé.They also greet you personally at the port to receive you 🙂 Ms. Aroo was the kindest host and organised our excursions as well as took care of giving us all the necessary information for the stay and trips. The excursions are managed by Gaadi Tours, which is exclusive to the home stay, so you get to do the trips only with the rest of the house guests- so it’s very comfortable. Gadi was a great guy who made us feel so much at ease with the open water swimming in deeper waters and we were mesmerised by the corals, swimming with the turtles, underwater water photography as well as visiting the beautiful sandbank during low tide. What a memorable experience for life ♥️ And lastly, Hassan who is the caretaker of the property was the most kindest soul who took care of your stay. It felt like we were staying with our family with all the warmth, kindness and attention. Highly recommend!

Before i went to Thulusdhoo i was in good contact with the hotel manager for all questions and to make a reservation for the speedboat (USD 25). The room was really amazing and has a nice balcony, the hotel is just 6-7 years open but everything looks so new and fresh. I don't say this often but the staff were amazing and so friendly and interested. The hotel offers different tours and the Shark/Stingray was one of the best snorkling trips i did in years. Nemo Garden was also a nice snorkling trip. Liked the food from the breakfast and dinner, fish from the menu was perfect and really good prices (10-12 USD). You can use the free bikes to cycle around, go to the sunset beach and stay till sunset.

Fantastic stay - 4 days, 2 rooms with adult family. The hotel is spotless and surrounded by nature. It has its own beach which is just stunning. Lots of fantastic trips (snorkeling with rays was outstanding) - staff are friendly and more than happy to help. This is not a private island, so there are small local shops in the town and a few excellent local restaurants. Getting about is by golf cart (supplied by the hotel). This is an alcohol free island which didn't bother us, but if you fancy a drink the hotel can organise a boat to take you to other islands or to the floating bar. Food at the hotel is fab- not masses of choice, but what they do, they do very well. Plenty to eat at breakfast too. All in all, this is probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in which retains its Maldavian roots. Thanks so much.
