Very interesting location in original 19 century miners houses. Perfect for realizing how it would have been living there back then. One apartment is left original and can be visited as part of a historical heritage trail in Burra. By adding modern comfort is staying a blessing. No sounds at night, pitch dark. Birds in the morning. And village center less than five minutes away. All together: A very pleasant surprise!

There was a slight mishap with our room, which was however handled in a very professional way and immediately corrected. The room is quite large and rather new, with a big bathroom and ample space for our luggage. We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs with a nice choice of wines and there's also the possibility to order a breakfast in the morning. The location is right in the middle of downtown, perfect to walk around the city but the rooms are really quiet, even though the main road is just next to the hotel. Loved the town itself, there's a lot of history here, but also interesting geology in downtown and close by with the lakes. Worth a stop.

We try and get away occasionally for date nights and this by far was the best we had experienced. As we entered the property all instructions were perfect and made the journey great fun. We parked at our tiny home to see the most amazing view. We were excited to then see the tiny home. As we walked up the steps we saw a gorgeous patio with outdoor bath. As we entered we saw personalised note from the owner, which was amazing as it was very last minute. Next to that was an offering of whiskey. Every detail was so thought out including fresh flowers, fruit and veg to make a fresh juice, coffee beans and so much more. The tiny house was extremely clean and comfortable with lovely bedding and Luxury towels. I could go on and on about our stay. It can be hard to leave the comfort of your own home but this eco stay is the home away from home.
