Staying on the river instead of in the chaotic town of Livingston felt like a better experience.

The place is stunning, the food is amazing, all the staff is super nice, theres no phone connection so you can socialize easily with all the other guests. I would say that one day here is not enough because theres lots of activities to do and to fully enjoy it is better to take your time to relax. I would also recommend the chocolate workshop, we made like snickers chocolates but with real cacao and it was so good! We would love to come back in the future

Beautiful spot with great vibes. The staff were all incredibly helpful, food was tasty and reasonably priced, facilities were clean. Enjoyed using the kayaks to head out to the swimming pontoon. Highly recommend staying here!

Modern and clean hotel rooms, some with sea view, bed was very comfortable, shower and AC worked fine. Hotel and its restaurant is beautiful, food was well done, too, and they got a nice beer selection. The whole hotel feels like an oasis in the middle of Livingston. And the staff is great, especially Carlos made us feel at home, and everyone was super helpful. Bring a bit of time when eating here, they're not the fastest, but the food is worth it.

Situé à La Viña, l’établissement Hotel el viajero comprend un restaurant et un bar. When we arrived we felt like at home. All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.
