L’établissement Hilo Hostel se trouve à Nara, à respectivement 900 mètres et 18 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Gare de Nara et Iwafune Shrine. The owners are extremely attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming and quiet. I slept on the last floor, so for guests carrying a big luggage, I recommend to bring a duffel bag or similar to bring your belongings upstairs. Although the owners did not hesitate for a second to bring my luggage, it was good sense to leave it on the ground floor and bringing only the items to be used (toiletry, pajamas, etc). The shared room has enough space to circulate. If you prefer to sleep in the dark, I recommend you bring the sleeping mask, as the lights remain on until the last guest sleeps. The shower is good , and you will have a nice hot water. The location is very close to the train station and to the Sanjo Dori street.

Doté d'un restaurant et de bains thermaux naturels, l'Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring est situé à Nara, à seulement 3 minutes à pied de la gare JR de Nara et à 15 minutes de marche du temple... Super séjour! Chambre confortable, bel onsen, des boissons à volonté et des ramens servis le soir. Très sympa! Lits confortables. Bien insonorisé. Personel très gentil.

Le NARA Visitor Center and Inn est situé au cœur de Nara, à seulement 3 minutes à pied du temple Kofuku-ji et de Naramachi. La dame à l'accueil était exceptionnelle, dun joli raffinement japonais! Hotel extrêmement bien situé, au centre de tout, juste devant un petit lac avec les biches devant l'hôtel. Propre, calme, bien équipé. Prix très correct

A great place to spend your day away from big cities and sights flooded with tourists. This is a ryokan so you get a nice futon bed, tatami floor, yukatas. The view from our room was great! We’ve also ordered a delicious Japanese style breakfast. The public bath is actually two rooms that have a lock, so you could go inside with your family together. This was very nice for me because I’ve been traveling with my partner and a 1,5y son. The area is quiet and nice. There is a temple you need to go uphill. The area is mountainous with lots of stairs. You take the cable car to get there. Keep in mind that there are no supermarkets there, you need to go down by cable car to Ikoma. But there are some restaurants and cafes so you won’t get hungry. I think it’s even more beautiful in fall, you can enjoy momiji. We’ve stayed in late March and the weather was not the best, like 10-15 C. So we’ve used a heater in the room and in the bath. Don’t hesitate to ask the owner to show you how to use it

L’établissement 奈良旅館別館 Sweet 螢 源 se trouve à Nara, à 800 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Gare de Nara. Just wow. Great room, awesome facilities. The only thing, we had a cockroach outside while enjoying the onsen. It climbed out of the sewer or something and I was terrified to death :)

He was so nice and gave amazing recommendations. He called a restaurant to make a reservation for which he recommended and it was one of the best yakiniku places we’ve been to. We also went out to a karaoke bar with him and we had a great time! It was a nice property but the host made the experience even better!
