Situé à Matsue, l’établissement 4 étoiles Onyado Nono Matsue Natural Hot Spring possède un spa et centre de bien-être. - amazing rooftop onsen (from the women’s bath little window you can see the castle!) - with free ice cream afterwards - big rooms, with comfortable beds and cute decorations to give a traditional feeling (even the ceiling had 2 different types of wood paneling. Mine had a view of the canal. Higher ones could have a castle or lake view. - amazing breakfast buffet, with a lot of local specialties (Izumo soba, zenzai…) - within walking distance of the castle and historical houses.

The owners go above and beyond to make your stay the most comfortable. Would travel here for the food alone, what a feast! (tip: do a very light lunch prior). These hard working people and their outstanding building and surroundings really need more international visits. So, if you’re in the market for a Adachi museum visit. Please consider this ryokan as your stay. I would recommend a 2 night stay as you can explore the temple grounds and unwind. In other words; It’s been absolutely perfect. どうもありがとう。
