The BEST amazon experience we could ever have! Staff: They were very nice and helpful. They were responsive to all our questions about activities and other information before our arrival. When we got there, we felt welcome and being supported. It felt that everyone tried their best to make our stay comfortable. Carlos at the reception was kind and considerate. Richard at the bar was nice and supportive. Staff at the tour desk were also very patient and supportive. Tour: We LOVE our guide Manuel who took us to the night walk and Sandoval lake tour. He was dedicated to help us find as many wild animals as he could. A very reliable and supportive man. We felt that he sincerely cared about the tour and the forest! It was impressive and heart-warming. The hotel offers a variety of tours, worth of exploring :) Food: LOVE the restaurant. food was delicious and well prepared! Hightly recommend Hotel Enai to everyone that visits Puerto Maldonado! Wish we could go back some day in the future.

The staff were very nice and very helpful. On the day of arrival in the afternoon they took us on a short tour of surroundings where they showed us local plants and the river. We event got to taste the raw cacao beans. They helped us call and order taxi because we don’t speak Spanish and Uber doesn’t work here. They have a small shop with fruits, bread, sweets and salts. Breakfast was excellent. We got avocado every day. With some rice, eggs or tamales. We also got bread and coffee or tea.

All rooms are equpipped with fan and AC and private bathroom and fridge. Clean place all over. Theres a bar, a beautiful pool and the host is fantastic and very friendly. Even took us out to buy some food anf other stuff. Helped us with everything. This place wilk make you chill out. Its worth it. There is harldy anything bad we can mention.

The stay at Chomi House was a dream come true. Everything and I really mean everything was perfect. We were even picked up by our host from the airport and he took us back with all our luggage. Elmer and his family are very friendly, helpful and we felt a 100% safe and welcome all the time. The house is very clean, comfortable and we loved the hammocks and the pool. The best thing of all, what we discovered later on, are the tours he organises. Very IMPORTANT!!!!! Book the tours at his place since they are perfectly organised and better than similar once in get your guide. We did two tours and we got professional guides who really knew what they do!!!! We regret not having known that from the beginning. Communication was always very smooth and easy. We will definitely return!!

A really lovely, peaceful place to stay, surrounded by the sounds of nature, with all the little whooping, scratching, hooting critters that abound. Nicholas, the host, was so helpful in sorting us out with various things, including day trips. It is quite a way from town so organise your food and drinks before you arrive, and don't be fooled by the distance on the map - the real distance is further as you bounce around swerving round potholes. Some taxis might not make the journey depending on the season. Here be dragons....
