The eco-camp is an ideal place for star gazing, relaxing and having a peaceful night. The hosts were super welcoming as well. We came by public transport and taxi (150 shekel from Mitzpe Ramon to the camp), but were picked up by friends in the morning. Generally, I’d rather recommend getting to the camp by car (as also stated by the hosts)

Spice Quarter Inn has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Mitzpe Ramon. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue.

I had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Spice Quarter Inn. It’s a friendly, vibey and cosy place with very good energy and atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a shared kitchen and plenty of hot water for the shower. It’s located in the arty Spice Quarter area of Mizpe Ramon which has cafes, restaurants and shops (best area to be in). The machtesh is a 25 minute walk from the inn.

Located 15 minutes' walk from the Makhtesh Ramon crater, 900 Meters above sea level, the eco-friendly Silent Arrow offers shared and private tents in the desert, 1.3 km from Mitzpe Ramon centre.

Desert Shade is in the most amazing location, looking out over the Mitzpe Ramon Crater. A short walk takes you right to the rim, and then you can walk along the edge, looking out over miles of desert landscape, with wadis, differing coloured rocks, and it’s hills and plateaus. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. And sweet mint (black) tea was offered on arrival. The cabin was delightfully simple, clean and tidy, and a/c very welcome. The beds are simple but comfortable. Showers and toilets clean. Wonderful colours and clouds as the sun set; plenty of stars in the middle of the night bathroom trip (which felt very comfortable, with lighting and my phone’s torch, although that was hardly needed, to light the way. Delicious breakfast, which we ate, as we did the supper we brought, in the ‘tent’ roofed and walled with real traditional Bedouin goats’ hair rugs. In short, it’s a fabulous place.

Shtiuie and Abu-Shamir are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfest was well served with eggs, pita breads, cheese, and vegatabales. The fireplace kept working and coffee and tea was served continousely. If we had any problems Shtiuie took care of them!

Jacob Mitzpe Ramon features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Mitzpe Ramon. Guests can make use of a bar.
