Das Wüstencamp bietet in vielerlei Hinsicht ein tolles Erlebnis: Akash hieß uns sehr freundlich im Camp willkommen und erklärte uns alles. Das Abendessen und auch das Frühstück waren sehr lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl an Speisen. Ein Highlight unseres Aufenthaltes waren eine Kamel-Tour am Ankunftstag und eine am nächsten Morgen zum Sonnenaufgang - einfach spektakulär mit ganz tollen Fotos. Das ganze Programm war sehr abwechslungsreich: es gab Tanzvorführungen, Pferdeshow, Feuershow, Star Gazing, Henna-Bemalung und Fotos mit Falken. Alle Mitarbeiter waren super nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Wir wurden sehr gut von Dhruba betreut und Almas hat uns zuverlässig vom Treffpunkt abgeholt und wieder zurückgebracht. Die Unterbringung im sehr geräumigen Zelt mit großem Bett hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir können eine Übernachtung mit Halbpension im Al Marmoom Oasis Wüstencamp voll und ganz empfehlen.

Staying here was such a wonderful experience!! Everything was as described or even better: very nice and comfortable tent, clean toilets, amazing food (and so much variety and quantity that it's hard to try it all!) and outstanding service from everyone at the camp (Riad and Marwan were in charge of our stay and always took care that everything went well, but really everyone was so professional and friendly that it was a pleasure!). The activities that are included were great too (we didn't book any extras as we just wanted to enjoy the programme without rushing), and we liked that you get plenty of free time to do them and to enjoy the camp as you wish and at your pace. Another plus for us was the fact that the pick up point is easily reachable with public transport (bus number 16, around one hour ride to connect to the metro in Dubai), so if you're not in a hurry you don't need to take a taxi or have a car. It's just important to know that the place is indeed "touristy" and, due to the location close to Dubai and its airport, not really isolated in the desert, but instead of that you get a very well organised, safe and professional stay, which in our case even exceeded our expectations. All in all, we can absolutely recommend this experience, especially staying overnight (which we found much nicer than only spending a few hours)! It was definitely a highlight of our stay in the UAE and we really hope we can repeat it!! 😊
