This is a really cool place. It is what I imagine a Coachella or Burning Man campground to look like (in a good way). While the accommodations are on the natural and rustic side, there are thoughtful touches and art everywhere. You could tell Max (the host) put a lot of care into his place. During the day, there's a lot of sun and great views of the hills and countryside. During the night, excellent, unobstructed views of the stars. Great place to disconnect. Most importantly, the host (Max) is super kind and helpful. He offered to drive me around the Valley to see the sights, go to town to run errands, and even drive me the airport in La Serena an hour away. All around great guy - better service than a 5 star resort, I would come back just for him.

The tent provides a washing machine and a tea and coffee maker, as well as a shared bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. A perfect friendly host. We enjoyed talking to him. He helped to plan our time and had a wonderful experience
