The location is incredible, the views are out of this world, the rooms are perfect and the service is impeccable. The staff honestly are amazing they even upgraded us to a bigger room for free which was the highlight of our trip. Also, a big shoutout to the chef the food is AMAZINGGGGG! We had the veal schnitzel on our first night and we fell in loveeee to the extent that we just cancelled our plans to explore the restaurants in the area and had it again the next night and it was even better than the night before. Seriously, hats off to the chef. This will definitely not be our last time staying in Sandgold and if it opens branches in other locations we’d be the first to visit. Hotel Restaurant Schaurhof is set among alpine meadows in the hamlet of Ried. It features panoramic views over the Sarntaler Alps and a free shuttle bus to the ski slopes. Lovely chalet in nice settings. We had lunch, drinks, dinner and breakfast and enjoyed it all. The room and the beds were comfortable. Lovely staff.
