There is a little village at just 5 minute walk where you can buy fruits, vegetables, chapati, fried potatoes and meat. Serah is an amazing host. Very fast in her response and she’s able to help you with all of the activities: safari in Tsavo west or east, an amazing hike through the mountains or a waterfall trip. Her vision and entrepreneur spirit is amazing to see and she has some great advices. Thank you so much for everything and hopefully we’ll be back one day!

Ook een bezoek bij het dichtbijzijnste village is leuk. Absoluut een aanrader! IK kom graag weer terug.

Zo mooi, ruim, verzorgd. De eigenaar stond ons op te wachten, zeer vriendelijk. Ongedwongen en top vakantie gevoel. Het personeel, 37 man voor 5 lodges was zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en bediende ons op zijn wenken. En het eten : kreeft oesters, vis, zo lekker, het ontbijt schitterend en bediend in onze lodge.We zijn nog maar weg en we missen het al. Deze tent heeft een eigen ingang. Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers ligt aan de Kilifi Creek, op slechts 3 km buiten de stad en wordt omgeven door een gemeenschappelijk bos. Beautiful space - literally could not ask for a better area to hang out in. Everything is very clean, the entire staff are wonderful and the common areas make for a great place to hang out. Location is great - super short walk to the beach, bodas available to go anywhere. Even the dorms are lovely, with large comfortable beds. I intended to stay for 2 nights and stayed for 5.
