Sam is a perfect host, who really cares. He made us feel welcome, helped with renting bicycles and even did a very nice bicycle tour with us.
The location is perfect if you want to see the sacred city (15 minutes walk away) and feel like being in nature. It is also a very good starting point to do a bicycle tour to Mihintale (which was a great experience!)
From the nice rooftop terrace you can see the sunset over the stupas.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Mango Villa and we had a wonderful time there. We came late in the evening and they still could arrange a nice dinner at the villa for us. Next morning there was a breakfast ready exactly on time as we requested. We did a safari the next day which was the best! Very kind and helpful people.
