Where to start.. this stay really went straight to our hearts <3 From the second we arrived Madu and his crew took great care of my husband and I. We had half board but opted for lunch on the property as well. The lunch serving and evening BBQ was some of the best meals we had on the entire trip. We also did two safaris arranged by the property and this worked really well. Madu the "all around guy" was also our safari guide and all though he was new at the job at Yala Wild Hut, he was very vigilant and professional. He never left our side whenever outside the tents, I guess for service and safety and we never felt unsafe at any time. This whole experience of staying in the wild and getting to know these people and their story really touched us deeply. We are so grateful for this authentic experience!

Staff are super respectful. They do their best to make you feel you are special guest. Cottage is spotless and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast have chef’s touch. It was an unforgetable experience for us to spend a night there.

This is a gorgeous place, hidden deep in the lush forested boundary area surrounding Yala National Park. Just to get here is an adventure: you rendezvous with their safari jeep at the end of the paved road, from where you ride with elevated excitement along bumpy dirt tracks through 'the jungle' and rural farmland into the hidden oasis that is Tribe Yala's glamorous tented area. You're looked after by a smiling and humble manager, educated in England, who exudes skillfull customer service with his efficient possy of staff at every turn. The tents are wonderfully large and so comfortable. Showers always hot. Wi-fi always on - in the middle of nowhere! Love it. You're in the wild, so you are always joined by nature here - be they spirited songful birds, skulking monitor lizards, croaking frogs, marching millipedes et al - they all come to say Hi. The evening meals were fabulous - some of the best food I ate in Sri Lanka, and the breakfasts in the treehouse were wonderful. Yala Park was closed at the time of our visit because of storm flooding, so we couldn't do the full safari we had hoped for, but instead the amazing manager proactively arranged for us to visit a fantastic nearby Buddhist Monastery, it's 'twin temples' perched high above the canopy on giant natural rock alters, affording amazing views. The journey there and back was a safari in it's own right: amazing bird life and mammals all around! And because of the storm cancellation, this adventure was provided free of charge. If we ever return to Sri Lanka, we will most surely return to Tribe Yala.

Yala Mobile Camping provided the perfect balance of adventure and comfort. Our tent was incredibly comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally kind and knowledgeable. Thanks to our amazing guide, we had thrilling leopard sightings and countless other wildlife encounters. one night stay inside the national park ,its another experience for lifetime. in night we saw the Sloth bear and Leopard come close to our tent. staff is very knowledgeable they handle the encounter situation very politely. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants an authentic, luxurious, and truly wild stay in Yala.

AT ONE - with Nature Glamping Resort is voorzien van een restaurant en accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, een tuin en een terras. Tangalle-strand ligt op 7 minuten lopen. Super fijn gehad! Zelfs een nachtje langer gebleven. Manju heeft me mee op pad genomen om schildpadden te spotten en een night safari gedaan. Ook heeft hij heerlijke vis klaar gemaakt!

Amazing deluxe room in Green Villa. Spacious, clean and good AC. Family very friendly, relaxed, flexible. We were generously treated with mangoes and other fruits from the garden. They have over 5 species of mango (consider it a local mango tasting). Swimming pool clean and close to the lake. Kind dogs that help protect from a friendly elephant visit (who also wanted a nightly mango tasting).

Beautiful stay that transported me away to nature. The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.
