Beautiful location in the midst of nature. Samitha and the team made the stay exceptional. We really enjoyed the night walk and boat ride. Perfect location to enjoy the safari which was organised by the camp and was the hi-light of our trip, amazing driver who served as a guide also, we saw so much thanks to his hawk eyes! Samitha also arranged reasonably priced taxis for us to and from the accommodation. The dinner by the camp fire was a feast fit for a king and such an amazing way to finish the day. Thank you 🙏🏻

Asanka is a great guy. He arranged everything for us. The safari trip with Janaka, the amazing tour guide, was incredible, the dinner at the cottage was very good, very comfortable and cool. Amazing structure. Don't miss the opportunity to visit him and his wife.

We had a truly unforgettable stay, thanks to the breathtaking Mango Safari Camping and the outstanding dedication of the team. We spent one night at the charming and peaceful campsite and were warmly welcomed. We went to the Elephant Transit Home which was an unforgettable moment in our life where many baby elephants are bottle-fed by humans. The actions and demonstrations done by baby elephants were amazing and somewhat similar to human babies, which was funny to see.
We were treated to a traditional Sri Lankan dinner by the bonfire – the food was very delicious. In the morning, we enjoyed a jeep safari in the Udawalawe National Park, we could see ample of elephants feeding on grass, deer, water buffalo, and birdlife of the area and the scenery was simply stunning.

Amazing luxury glamping experience with everything we needed! Lovely clean rooms with outdoor bathroom and good A/C. The dinner was great and we loved the pool, which had monkeys in the trees and bats flying over in the evening.
We did the safari booking with the hotel which was fantastic, Santhan was a great tour and made our experience spectacular - he took us down different routes to the other jeeps and we seemed to see a lot more than others, he was also very knowledgeable about the different animals. We saw elephants, monkeys, peacocks, deer, crocodile and water buffalo which was amazing! Thank you so much to Santhan and the hotel staff.

The setting of the hotel, in a large expanse of land, with gorgeous trees and plants. There is a pond with fish (and we saw a BIG monitor lizard swimming), just the whole atmosphere was great. We had a deluxe air con room and a luxury tent. Both were great and very good value. The food was really good and the guys in the restaurant were so friendly, attentive and kind. We loved our stay at this hotel.

It is a great experience to stay at coconut camp. It is surrounded by nature and you can fall asleep to the sound of a little stream running just in front of your tent. The tents are very clean and luxurious but the best thing about the place is really the great hospitality - I can warmly recommend to have dinner there, it is a very special experience and so delicious! Also breakfast is really outstanding and I enjoyed my Safari with Sanda a lot. I saw a lot of Elephants and I am grateful he recommended me to stay one more night to be able to do Safari in the evening time (cause the the elephants go to get water and you can see more of them) and visit the Elephant Orphanage in the morning - that was such a beautiful experience! I felt very well taken care of and warmly welcomed, I am very grateful I stayed there and I can only recommend to go for this experience!

A truely unforgettable experience with Dulara and the team at Ahaspokuna. It’s difficult to pinpoint one thing that stood out as everything was exceptional. The food, the hospitality, the room, the environment, you will not regret staying here! Hope to be back one day. If you’ve read about the leaches, don’t bother worrying, they’re tiny and a non-event.

What can I say? Big Game at Udawalawe was an amazing experience! Glamping next to the National Park, Safaris, BBQ under the stars (with fireflies!). The staff are attentive and accommodating. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and gives you a true experience of a Safari. I will recommend to all my friends travelling to Sri Lanka!

Loved our 2 night glamping experience while visiting for safari. Room was comfortable. Very big bed. Had a tv, fridge and kettle. Incredible pool. All food was yum and cheap. Loved seeing all the monkeys. Hotel organised the safari which ran perfectly. Overall the accommodation was very good value.

The location was really special, felt like our own little private retreat in the jungle by the river. Dinner was delicious and lit by fire torches, campfire and magical fireflies! Staff were so very friendly and helpful. Safari was amazing too! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone keen for a nights escape :)
