The location is fantastic — right in the heart of the desert, surrounded by beautiful dunes and perfect for watching the sunset and sunrise. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our tent was clean, comfortable, and well set up for a relaxing night in the desert. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Oman’s desert!

The unit offers 1 bed. excellent position in the desert, quite far from the nearest city thus we had a good view of the milky way. Excursion in the desert was stunning, our guide has been kind and welcoming, the dinner has been super considering we were in a desert camp. after dinner we joined a relaxing moment around a campfire in arabic sitting and dessert serving with omani tea and coffee. Everything has been super! thank you guys.

Beautiful location. Great host and the food. Thanks to Muhammad bro's food it was amazing and the spread was a lot. The land lord was also very friendly and kind. And helped to make our stay amazing. The whole property is a vibe.

I really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the staff and loved the quiet and intimacy of a smaller camp (only 4 tents). It was so fun meeting people from all over the world at dinnertime and breakfast, and the campfire after dinner was amazing for sharing conversation over tea while stargazing. Everything was so comfy and clean - the bed was comfortable and I loved being able to shower underneath the stars! Finding the camp was easy enough and I had a wonderful time here. Definitely go dune bashing with Ibrahim! The food was so yummy and plentiful and the sunrises/sunsets cannot be missed. I’m so glad I chose this place to stay!!

Ausgesprochen freundlicher Service und gleichzeitig gute Gesellschaft bei Datteln und Tee. Saubere Zimmer mit bequemen Betten, gut zu erreichen mit einem 4x4, grosszügiges und gutes Essen. Mit einem kleinen Fussmarsch durch die Dünen erreicht man wunderbare Orte um den Sonnenuntergang zu geniessen oder die Sterne zu beobachten. Und das Lagerfeuer am Abend war herrlich! Es hat uns sehr gefallen!

The camp itself was beautifully set up – very clean, peaceful, and with a truly magical atmosphere under the stars. What made the experience even more special was the amazing driver and guide, Ali. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire stay. His passion for the desert and local culture really came through, and he made sure everything was perfect. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely – just completely relaxed and in awe of the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert experience! And the food was really nice too.

Habe keinen Wert auf Dune bashing, Kamelreiten und Animation gelegt und im Thousand Stars Desert Camp genau das gefunden, was ich erhofft habe- 2 tolle Zelte in einsamer Lage, gutes,originelles Essen, aufmerksames Personal und mit Ali einen Chef, der sich darum kümmerte, dass alles funktionierte wie versprochen.
