When I looked where to stay at Addo I wanted a place that maximized the wildlife without me having to drive anywhere and Gorah did exactly that. We sat at the hotel all day and we experienced the most amazing wildlife at the waterhole. And at the same time Gorah staff exemplary in their service and kindness. The food superb right down to my wife’s diabetic requirements at all times and we were made to feel that nothing was too much.

Elephants Lodge is located within the malaria-free Bellevue Forest Reserve, home to wildlife such as lion and buffalo.

The tent is very cozy and comfortable and the view from the own little balcony is stunning! The food (breakfast & dinner) is fresh and delicious. All the staff is extremely friendly and attentive and they made us feel at home. We did a giraffe safari with Bradley and loved it! He is a great guide!

The peaceful location, the breathtaking view from the room (over the Zuurberg Mountains) and the friendly, personalised service. Camp Figtree is situated at 2km from the road, due to which you can enjoy total silence. The only sounds that you hear come from nature: birds, wildlife, … We were warmly welcomed by the General Manager, who received us with homemade Icetea. He showed us around the premises and brought us to the room. Camp Figtree also has a good restaurant with a terrace overviewing the mountains. The restaurant is very cosy. We sat next to an open fire and enjoyed our candlelight dinner. The food was very fresh and it tasted delicious! This morning, we also had a friendly encounter with the Lodge Manager. It was not a problem at all to stay a bit longer. He said we could even stay for lunch if we wanted. I will defintely stay here again on my next visit to South Africa!

This is a hidden gem! Amazing spot, comfortable beds, great food, easy to reach from the N2 highway -- a wonderful spot that I will recommend to friends for relaxing or visiting the Addo region.

Set in Colchester, 1 km from the south entrance of Addo National Park, ParkView Safari Lodge offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a bar and a shared lounge.

Amazing location, we had the pleasure to have dinner on the terrace in elephant tent and saw elephants in the National park walking by. Very friendly staff, provided us dinner on our terrace.
