The bed was super comfy with hotel quality linen. All kitchen utensils are provided. You don't need to bring anything but food. The Family unit is ideal for a family of four, with two adults and two small children. The two bedrooms are interlinked and you walk through the main bedroom to get to the en-suite bathroom. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at; not only in Franschhoek, but of all the places I have ever stayed at before. It is very spacious, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The farm and surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful, and the location to the town center is perfect. One could stay here in the winter or the summer, due to the indoor fireplace, hot tub and outdoor braai area. I love that it is also very private. Our host was extremely attentive; responding immediately whenever we asked her something. She was very friendly, helpful, and it was clear that she wanted us to enjoy our stay. We will now be staying here every time that we are in Franschhoek!
