It was so lovely and clean, the beds were super comfy, it was spacious, it was very close to visiting my aunt, the shower was lovely and powerful! It was just absolutely fabulous, amazing house and we can't wait to stay again! Owned by the nicest people who let us check in really early due to a really early flight!

Wow, what an amazing place. The room was luxurious and comfortable and charmingly decorated. The entire hotel was lovely. We wanted to stay longer! The staff was great. I had a problem with the wifi and the front desk talked me through it and I quickly realized that it was my phone that was the problem. Their wifi was perfect! Parking was plentiful. The grounds were beautiful. We really enjoyed eating breakfast in the back garden area. The breakfast was Michelin-star chef quality! It was so tasty. Highly-recommended!

Das mit Abstand beste B&B auf unserem Road Trip. Die Gastgeber waren so liebenswert und freundlich und haben uns von vorne bis hinten verwöhnt. Alles war liebevoll durchdacht und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück wurde frisch auf Wunsch zubereitet und es gab viel Obst, super. Es war perfekt und nah dran an Alton Towers. Ein netter Pub ( Bulls Head) ist ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss, wobei der Fussmarsch im Dunkeln auf den engen Straßen ohne Fußweg doch etwas abenteuerlich ist.

Definitely recommend booking Brook Cottage if you’re in the area… it’s in a stunning location with wonderful views and yet still incredibly close to amenities, pubs, cafes and the Picturedrome. The attention to detail is fabulous and it’s clear the cottage has been lovingly renovated to deliver all the cosiness you’ll love, with a modern twist. We were particularly touched to see milk in the fridge and snacks in the cupboard, and the number of USB chargers around the place worked well for us too. The property is spotlessly clean and tidy as well as very tastefully decorated - a real home from home.

Welcoming as soon as we arrived. Helpful, friendly hosts who ensured we had a great visit. Loved the theme with Sheep on towels, bedding decorations etc. Location is excellent, in village of Great Longstone and 3 pubs. You can walk everywhere from here. Would highly recommend staying here either for relaxation or exploring the beautiful Peak District.
