Die in Clifden gelegene Unterkunft Clifden Bay Lodge ist 8,6 km von Alcock & Brown Memorial und 22 km von Kylemore Abbey entfernt. On our trip to Ireland we stayed in five airbnbs. Clifden Bay Lodge was, by far, the best. Location, view, comfort were very good. Small things, like good size, clearly labeled containers of shampoo and soap that did not require flashlight to read helped. Breakfast was memorable with home baked pastries. The owner made the place special.

Fantastic location 5 minutes from the main bus stop but very quiet. Michael was a great host (got us in touch with a fantastic taxi driver who took us to Omey Island and back for a reasonable price), the sitting room on the ground floor had tea and coffee and great selection of books and games. Breakfast was great! Truly the best experience as a base to explore Connemara. I have only superlatives to say.

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town. The B&B was a little apartment, equipped with absolutely everything needed for a short stay. It was perfectly organized, a fresh brown bread and a fruit cake made by the owner was a nice surprise on arrival. Very good location, you can walk to the town, at the same time local attractions like Sky Road Loop or Kylemore Abbey are easy to reach by car. Absolutely perfect place for a stay.

Great space! We celebrated my 60th birthday with 13 friends from all over the United States. We all stayed within Clifden town and enjoyed a night all together on the beautiful deck. Loved the location and kitchen/deck space. So convenient to all the shops, pubs, restaurants, and grocery store. Gerard was wonderful to work with- friendly and very responsive. It is an older home which some might not like but we loved it and would come back time and again.
