The breakfast was exceptional and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

Everything was excellent. Owner lady was very nice and pleasant. Employees were very kind. Room was clean and well maintained, with beautiful lake view. Breakfast was very tasty. I loved it. Location is good, right in front of the ferry terminal, and only 5 to 6 minutes walk from the Varenna-Esino train station. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

A large food store is about 5 minutes walking and is perfect for getting any groceries you might need. The apartment is very beautifully decorated, and has all the amenities, with a huge balcony off the living room overlooking the Cathedral. Thomas is a very wonderful, friendly, kind host who helped us a great deal and made the stay in his apartment very enjoyable. Our only regret is that we stayed only one night in Thomas's apartment, we wish it had been longer. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Como.

The rooms were clean, stylish, and you could see that a lot of care went into every detail. Breakfasts were amazing – lots of homemade stuff and also things from local farms and businesses. You could really taste the quality. All in all, a beautiful and peaceful place with a lot of heart. We loved it and would happily come back!
