Set in the centre of Lecco, Villa del Cigno has a peaceful location even thought it is just 800 metres from the main square. It has a garden with children's playground and offers free parking and free WiFi throughout the property. Extremely polite, understanding, friendly and kind host and staff. The communication was very clear for check-in and anything else. Lovely breakfast. Everything was clean and the room was spacious. Bathroom arrangement is also good. I will be coming back here when I come back for the next trip.

Located a 5-minute walk from Bergamo Alta, REGO APARTMENTS - Boutique Aparthotel with some off-site apartments in a Charming Historic District close to Upper Town offers apartments with free WiFi and some of them with air-conditioning or a balcony. They are housed in a historical building in Bergamo, 150 metres from the Carrara Academy and the GAMEC Art Museum. Great location in the lower city but easy walking distance to the upper city. Loads of space and very clean and comfortable. The staff was super helpful and responsive. The private parking (extra fee) was secure and made things very easy.

The hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport and free WiFi. I liked the bottled water in my room. A tea kettle would also be highly appreciated. The location is calm and easy to reach by a train from Milan or from Lake Maggiore. I stayed during my vacation in two different rooms and could not use the hair shampoo container (was probably blocked or broken), the hair conditioner container in the bathroom was OK (it`s good to know this information before you start taking a shower). You do not have to worry about a place to have lunch or dinner (there is an excellent restaurant downstairs). You can also easily order a transfer from/to the airport (I used both ways successfully), the travelling time is 10-15 minutes on a minivan with a professional driver.
