Surrounded by restaurants and cafes in Napier city centre, Motel de la Mer offers ocean-facing suites with a fully equipped kitchen. Some rooms have a balcony with ocean and city views. Immaculately clean, fresh and bright. Very well maintained and welcoming. It had every amenity. Location was perfect a 10 minute walk to city centre along the shore. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

We received a lovely welcome and there was an extremely helpful information folder in the room. The air conditioning worked well and was very welcome in the hot conditions. We would have loved to have stayed for more than the one night.

It was the most beautiful place we stayed at during our trip. Very clean, spacious, comfy and modern. Well equipped kitchen with everything available (even flour to make pancakes e.g.) Although it was too cold to use: there is a swimming pool (towels are provided) and a nice terrace to sit outside. Loved the country side location. The host is a lovely lady.
