After 14 days of travelling, we found it relaxing in GMH, Even though it was a room and a bathroom/toilet within a bigger house, but we had absolute privacy as there were two separate entrances. Mandy was a super and warm host. She was helpful in ensuring we are comfortable and provided breakfast items such as brown bread, home made jam, butter and yogurt. There was a toaster and coffee machine in the kitchenette. Upon my request, she provided us a pot and frying pan as well as an induction stove for us to prep simple meals. She also permitted us to use her washing machine and we hung the clothes on the drying lines. Thank you Mandy for the 3 restful nights!

We enjoyed the fantastic views with sundowners each evening sitting outside the cottage. The smell of the lavender added to the mood. Afterwards we lit the stove inside. Jason came with more logs and kindling in case we ran out. At a reasonable extra cost we ordered a charcuterie platter one evening. It was generous in size and delicious. Fresh eggs from their own hens were provided in the cottage along with milk, bread, butter/jam/marmalade. On leaving we needed a large taxi for all our luggage for the airport which Jason organised for us the night before we left.
