Casa Vela Boutique offers an outdoor SPA experience with a wood-burning Finnish sauna, a massage room, a cold plunge tank, and a heated outdoor pool. We loved everything about this little hotel. It is a true gem for the cost. The staff were excellent; alwyas helpful and were happy to store our luggage on the day of arrival. The room was clean, comfy and lovely. We were in the older section of the hotel which had a lovely living room where you could sit and read. There was cake, fruit and coffe availabe all day, and an honour bar if you wanted a drink. Breakfast was excellent, The pool looked lovely but we were there in Febraury and so did not use it. But we did sit on the patio and in the gardens. It took about 10 minutes to walk into the old town and we always felt safe.

The service was just exceptional; every little thing that we asked was taken seriously. The breakfast was amazing! Rich and tasty.

Lisbon's Humberto Delgado International Airport is within 38 km. Our family really loves this place. This is our third Christmas vacation at Vila Bicuda. I don't know what else to add. I hope we'll be able to come again.
