It's a small hotel in the historic center walking distance to a lot of the places you would like to see in Funchal. The room and facilities are simple, modern, comfortable, and clean, The staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast (included in the room price) is basic but sufficient for my needs, with a variety of breads, cereal, cold cuts cheese, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, coffee/tea etc. The AC in the room worked well. I would happily stay here again if I returned to Funchal.

The apartment is located very close to the airport and offers wonderful views. It was very clean with a fully equipped kitchen and I found it to be very quiet at night too, in fact we had a great sleep. On arrival we met the host and for a series of circumstances we were given a larger apartment than the one we initially booked which was amazing. The host himself is very kind and welcoming and the communication even before arriving was great too. There is also a comfortable parking space just in front of the apartments. Overall we had a great experience and I would definitely recommend Villa Scirocco as a place to stay in Madeira.

This is a great accommodation: super-modern and -clean, very spacious and very well equiped. We could even park our car in front of the flat; the location was very convenient for us. Furthermore, the owner was very friendly and helpful. All in all, we would stay there again.
