Meals at restaurant were quite unique, local and delicious, and desserts were such a delight to look at and enjoy. A very big thank for a lovely birthday surprise. Everything was exceptional - next to the beauty of the whole island it was that thing that makes everything dreamlike. The staff deserves a big praise!

The location of the hotel is perfect! Great restaurant in about 3-5 min walk! Wonderful garden and jacuzzi on the property! Pool and saunas are great! We loved our stay!

The fridge is stuffed with food - milk, butter, cheese, juice, eggs, all you need for breakfast for first couple of days. Ana and her staff are super welcoming.

The property has city and inner courtyard views, and is 13 km from Pico do Carvao. The apartment features family rooms. We loved our stay at Matriz lofts! It was comfortable, luxurious, sparkling clean, well designed with top notch appliances and a wonderful terrace. There is nothing more we could wish for really! The location is in the heart of the city with numerous restaurants at your door step. Nuno was a great host and even surprised us one morning with their artisanal bread. The best possible way to experience Ponta Delgada and Sao Miguel.
