Such a great gem in Berat. Really lovely traditional feel with all the comforts of modern day. Such great value for money. Wonderful beds, great view from the balcony and terrace, huge delicious breakfast and welcoming people. Would highly recommend. Tip: parking is on the Main Street and the walk up has stairs (every place in Berat does because it’s built on a hill).

The hosts were absolutely beautiful. They immediately made you feel like a part of their family, so welcoming and kind. They are a wonderful family and you will feel very safe and at home with them. It can be a bit of a sweat to get up there with your luggage since it's located high up in the old town but it's totally worth it since it's a beautiful house with fantastic views, a nice, clean room and very nice and welcoming hosts. Make sure that you visit their little museum and let Sazan share his knowledge about the albanian language and history. Very fascinating and good raki!

The stay here was amazing. The family are so attentive and will go above and beyond to help you with your stay. They tried to arrange a taxi for us to a local vineyard and said it was too expensive so offered to drive us themselves. I asked if we could pay for some washing to be done and the daughter offered to do it free of charge. The breakfast was exceptional - a huge spread of freshly prepared local breakfast dishes with a great view up in the balcony. We would recommend everybody to stay here.
