A 10/10 experience! It was even better than the pictures! The place was very clean and comfortable. (I had the best sleep in a long while, no joke!) I really loved the design of the room. It made me feel like home. Last but not least, the breakfast! Absolutely delicious!! Can’t wait to go back.

The guesthouse was lovely!! We were so impressed with the food. They make everything from scratch, all the produce come from their garden and small farm behind the guesthouse. They serve a delicious corn bread as a side, and not only do they grow the corn but they also mill it themselves with water power in a communal stone mill. Every meal was a feast. The outdoor space is also really nice, with fruit trees and hazelnut trees. We came as a family of 8 with two babies, and it was very comfortable. The owners were very nice and helpful! So glad we came and we can't wait for the next time!

The staff was so friendly. Mathilda and her husband sure know how to make people feel at home. The service was great and we had one of the best meals so far. Homemade and everything fresh, including the red wine from their own garden. We even could leave our car at their property when we left for an overnight stay at Lumi I Shales.

This was a highlight of our trip!! The family was beyond incredible - kind, generous, and very helpful (absolutely nothing was a problem!) The location was ideal for a night before our boat into the Shala River and had everything we needed - easy parking, great WiFi, kitchen, washing machine, comfortable beds, and air conditioning! The guesthouse was on a beautiful property surrounded by a lush garden, grape vines, and had very friendly animals to hang out with. It was very peaceful and had some lovely shade to sit out and have a bottle of their DELICIOUS home made wine at sunset. Highly recommend!! Wish we had booked an extra night or two! LOVED IT.
