Remember to bring cash (Euro or Lek) for the payment as it might be a bit tricky finding a bank that does not take a high commission in Shkodër.

The guesthouse is located right in the city center – everything is within walking distance. The hosts are very hospitable, and we were able to arrange parking for the day even after we had checked out. Private parking in the courtyard (3 euros per day) is a great advantage.

The guesthouse has just opened this summer and it is absolutely brand new. The room was perfect with river view, exceptionally clean and the sheet were smelling so good! The place itself is incredibile and the way to reach it is simply beautiful and part of the journey. The family running the place has a strong personal history and the girl speaks Italian very well. The place is a must-see of Albania, we learnt that the North-Tournism is kind of hidden in the country in favour of the South Coast to be 'preserved'. We invite everybody to come and visit this little gem instead which has more than wilderness to offer, you will find a great atmosphere and great people. Among all the other guesthouses of the place we love this one above all! Great breakfast, it has a bar nd a restaurant with delicious food.

Amazing guesthouse in paradise. The room was new and very clean. It is not hot inside during the day and at night because the guesthouse is in the shadow of the trees but still have amazing view to the river. The staff is very attentive. They have varied breakfast. Also you can take in this place kayak. Thanks for everything and good luck.

The host (Nicola) and his brother were incredibly friendly and nice. They allowed us to check in early, made us coffee and offered to clean up after us. They were great people, and in addition to the very attractive price point, the extremely central location, and the cleanliness of the accommodation, as well as the facilities on offer, our stay was exceptional. Huge room located just off the main pedestrian street in town. A short walk to all main points of interest in town as well as the intercity buses and local bus to the castle. Lots of food options and seevices/exchange houses around. The family owners were also super friendly and caring. Great stay in Shkoder.
