Sarah is a very friendly and helpful host. The studio was quiet and tasteful, exactly what we appreciated. It is dog friendly which meant a lot for us.

Room was great - exactly as advertised, and we loved how cosy it was! Had an amazing time working, reading and relaxing in the Library, and the building as a whole was beautiful. The parking around back was a pleasant surprise - would stay again

The professionalism of a bigger operation and personality of a small business. Staff were exceptional. It's hard to fill an old building with antiques and not make it feel fusty - this was anything but! Absolutely worth staying for dinner too - we weren't sure what to expect but booked in out of convenience more than anything and were very pleasantly surprised.

We were after a combination of a relaxing stay and an opportunity to explore the gorgeous nature of the Blue Mountains - and that is exactly what we got. The Kubba Roonga Guest House was cozy, welcoming and full of bush walks nearby. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were looked after - we appreciated the local tips for near by walks and eateries. We especially enjoyed the cosy facilities and nice details in our room including welcome chocolates and spa bath. The breakfast was lovely and well laid out. We felt very at home and welcome.

We had a fantastic weekend at Closeburn House. Steve and Paul were so friendly and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and they have done a wonderful job at renovating, stylish, fresh and very cosy. The breakfast was exceptional and a real highlight. A superb two course breakfast with homemade relishes and banana bread, perfectly cooked eggs too. I would highly recommend Closeburn House for a quiet weekend, it’s a 10 minute drive to Blackheath which has some great restaurants, bars and pubs. Many fantastic walks close by too. Such a wonderful place, will definitely be back!
