Hillhouse Hotel is perfectly located in the old town. The staff there are so kind and helpful even going out of their way to find us great parking. The rooms were sparkling clean, and the breakfast was delicious!

We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and it was wonderful- The room has smart contemporary decors and everything was brand new, sparkling clean and all things necessary for a comfortable stay were provided, including a coffee machine. Our balcony overlook the garden below and the leafy surrounding street which was lovely. The guest house is in the middle of the old town and the building we were in is a character old building that had been refurbished with new amenities. We enjoyed our stay.

This beautiful soulful house is in the center of Plovdiv's history. You are only a walk away from ancient parts of Old Town. More so, the hosts are very polite and warmhearted: they tend to help you in any way they can.. in our case, they waited for our late arrival and gave us a proper welcoming, with kettle and refreshments in our room. Also, they gave us a bilingual city map and points where to eat if we wanted. This is what good tourism is all about. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean apartment, which has been cleverly designed to maximise space. We loved the unique decor, especially the gorgeous tiles and sink in the bathroom and the dividing unit between the lounge and bedroom, with has a beautiful water vapour fire effect. The tv also swivelled round, so it could be used in the lounge or bedroom. The facilities were excellent, including a washer/dryer, dishwasher, kettle and coffee making machine. The sofa and bed were very comfortable and there was a lovely balcony with furniture, accessed via the bedroom. There are a lot of steps up to the apartment, however this did not bother us at all and gave us a better view. The location of the apartment is excellent. We did not hesitate to pop back to the apartment several times during the day, as it is so central. Overall we had a wonderful stay in this delightful apartment and I would not hesitate to recommend to others. Thank you to our hosts.

The host was very kind and forthcoming, he was very available and helpful. We appreciated the flexibility with regard to keeping our car in the private parking space longer than the check out time. The room was perfect for our needs, everything was modern, well-kept and clean. The Guesthouse is in a great position from which you can comfortably explore the city center by foot.
