I loved the place, amazing staff and owners, lovely people, clean and comfortable rooms, a swimming pool, and hammocks under trees to relax, cheap tour and activities you can book everyday for fair price at the front desk, I recommend and will definitely come again.

The best place! Most comfortable bed, privacy, great staff and amazing guests of this hostel. The only thing is quite walking distance from the central street (15-20 minutes), but the hostel really worse it!

The staff are SO sweet and genuinely care about you. Maribel does everything she can to make you feel welcome. She goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met! I have never stayed at a place where the staff has been so welcoming and kind! The location is quiet, but very close to the busy area as well. I highly recommend this hostal :)

Finding a gem like this, in the middle of the Atacama desert is truly amazing. Angelica is a wonderful host. She went out of her way to ensure that we were taken care of; from arranging breakfast when we had to leave early and checking us in earlier than scheduled, providing all the information we needed for visiting nearby sites and allowing us the use of the kitchen and laundry facilities. The location is very near the main road with great access to shops and services nearby. The rooms are comfortable and clean with the adequate amenities for a pleasant stay. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hostal Desert and would not hesitate to go back. You cannot go wrong with such an amazing hostess and property!

The hosts really made us feel at home and offered cups and hot water for breakfast even though they don't offer the service. Bed was comfortable and had lots of blankets so we didn't feel cold at any moment during the night. The shower was both strong and hot during any time of the day, it only lacked some height as it was at the limit for a 1,90m person. All in all a great value for money hostel, a little bit distant from the city center (which is a plus if you want to gaze at the stars) but only a 10-15 min walk from points of interest like the bus terminal or the main street with agencies and restaurants.
