What an amazing place!! It’s a frikking challenge to get there, but it’s worth it. You need to take a private 4x4 from Minca for 25$us or sit on the back of a motorbike to get there. You can’t drive your own car. Once there, fan only rooms(but it’s colder in the hills) middle of the jungle, great pool, vegetarian only food served for 5$us per day. Go walking at dawn to see local toucans. Go to the coffee/chocolate tour 20min walk. Life is good. Lovely people.

Centrally located in Minca, at the beginning of the trail to Marinka waterfall, the guest house comes with all the rustic comfort of a place surrounded by beautiful and dense rainforest. The room was large, very clean and well equipped. We also enjoyed the laundry service, comfortable beds and the simple but tasty breakfast. The hosts were very hospitable and nice and ready to help us to make the most of our stay. The place is also very good for meeting other travellers, with a generous outside terrace overlooking the forest, the village and a local football field.

The property was new and nicely decorated. The outdoor patio/bar was really nice. The hosts, Pilar and Jorge treated us like family and it was a very nice environment to relax. The beach was very close and so were some restaurants and grocery stores. Large, comfy bed in the room with air conditioning, as well as a balcony.
