The rooms where spacious and comfortable, I stayed in a two bed room, it had its own big shower and toilet.. It had a TV which I didn't use because I am not a TV fan. Everything was tidy and cleaned. The owners have dogs for dog lovers, they are friendly and let free in the facilities. There is an open swimming pool which again I didn't use because of my short stay. The house/cabin is beautiful, old fashioned and has a log balcony with a hamac infront of the rooms. They also have individual cabins for 2, 4, or 6 people if I remember correctly. They are separate small lovely and cosy houses and heve it's own private bathroom and shower with a hot tub. I will try and upload some photos. Breakfast was included in my stay, it's was lovely Colombian breakfast, with eggs, toast and arepa and a coffee or chocolate, your choice. They also cooked me a meal, additional charge but it was lovely, and hold my luggages until 4pm. As per my understanding, it is a family owned business and they are very welcoming and friendly. They was some loud music playing at around 10pm but the issue was resolved immediately after my enquiry. I will definatelly, use their service again if I ever return to Colombia. BTW is about 20 minutes from the el Dorado International Airport, you have to drive around the military base, so even though it's just around the corner it takes longer to get to it because of this.

Excellent place! In the middle of the nature. Many animals/birds coming in the morning. The owner is a very good chef/cook and makes delicious breakfast/dinner. The refugio is very close to the mirador/viewpoint (just 5min walking). Great place to calm down, have some great peaceful time in the nature

Juan is nice, friendly, always-love-to-help host just like local Colombian. You don't have to worry about anything and pls feel free to ask whatever it is. As for the house, the style is my cup of tea. Clean, simple, comfy so much. Walk 10-15 mins to the metro, cmpared to the noisy Poblado center, I prefer to live here, such as the quiet community, friendly neighbors, eat & shop is convenient as well. Enjoy my stay and would come back if any chance in Medellin.

Only stayed here as it was close to the start of the Corremitierra half marathon but it was a good choice. They seem to have a policy of putting you in an empty dorm until they have too many guests to do that. A nice touch. The best kitchen I have used on my travels, well equipped and clean. Staff were great. D1 Supermarket just around the corner and lots of eating out choices too. It's walkable to the South Terminal (about 1/2 an hour) and Poblado metro (15 mins). Hot showers, Netflix on lounge TV, a work station area and a nice balcony overlooking the street. I would happily stay here again.
