Everything. Honestly, we were so comfortable and loved having birds around us and hearing the howler monkeys from the poolside. The cabin was spot on and, although it's definitely in our "splurge" category for price, we would do it again without hesitation.

For those who want to be right on the beach at an affordable price, and who like the lively autonomous ease of being able to walk to town, supermarkets, and getting to know the local cafés, this place is a dream. We stayed 2 weeks. The owner Nury was very responsive, the manager Victor the same (helpful to speak Spanish) and my kids felt it was the best vacation we had ever had. (older teens). You are walking distance from bus stop and taxi stand— local prices exist, as there is a dual economy. Bring colones or dollars. Note that there is a bar next-door, but it has a kind of friendly family vibe. There is a village feeling to Montezuma— note that though we do not drink, there are cheerful safe older men drinking at all hours nearby, but there is a 24-hour property guard, shared area with hammocks, bbq, sink, outdoor shower, It is true that there can be music late at night, so I recommend bringing a sound machine and earplugs. But it is really a wonderful place, and I recommend being in touch with the owner and facilities manager if you have any issue. We would come back here in a heartbeat; we stayed in room 6 (quiet, protected, shared kitchen) and the apartment (louder but self-enclosed), each with own bathroom. We really felt the owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Your room can be cleaned daily if you wish. Have a great time here!

The open outdoor kitchen was supernice and wonderfully equipment too. The set up with the tents was supernice. At the beginning we thought it was gonna be superhot at night, but it was perfect as it really cools down after sunset. Everything was very clean all the time and bathrooms were good. The staff and owner are super friendly and helped us every time with all our questions. It’s a 5 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches. There’s a rack to store away your surfboards. Also some boards available for rental. Plenty of room to chill too during the day. The vibe is really nice and laidback. WiFi also worked really good.

The staff - All of them were so nice, amazing people! They were super responsive and helpful, Hector is the best handyman to have around; and Penny made us feel at home right away. The Cat - They have a small cat on the property called Sisi, very good cat!

The location was good and the host was very nice she fixed us breakfast for a reasonable price. she also called for the taxi when needed. We walked around the neighborhood, saw Scarlet Macaws and Parakeets, and heard howler monkeys. Restaurants are a short walk or you can cook in the kitchen. Room and kitchen are very clean.
