The special thing about this large apartment is that we feel at home quickly. It has all the amenities and convenience for a long pleasant stay. The suite was very clean and tidy. Everything was above expectations and perfectly arranged and managed by the very responsive, technically versatile and above all friendly owner. Lovely studio apartment, with an inside bike store, access to laundry facilities and a fridge. Everything for a pair of bike tourers. The room was immaculate and there was a kettle plus coffee maker, so we were sorted for breakfast drinks. Super bistro 200m up the hill, open Fri - Sun. Supermarket just down the hill 500m. Location overlooking the river in the midst of vineyards is perfect.

Pension Schmitz was extremely comfortable, and we truly enjoyed our stay in this pretty little German village. The rooms were nicely appointed (we had the Africa room under the roof), the bathroom was very large and had all the necessary amenities. There is everything necessary such as a fridge with water, coffee machine, etc on the ground floor next to the dining room. The breakfast outside on the terrace was exceptional and so nicely prepared freshly by owner Markus. With a bit of luck, you can spot the deer in the woods below. We will definitely be back when we visit our family.
