Perfect Guesthouse for the start or the end of the Faroe Islands trip. After my ferry to Mykines was cancelled, I could spontaneously stay an additional night, which was super amazing :)

Our rooms had a good enough view over Torshavn and to the sea. We had a full flat with very big bedroom with extra sofa, big living room with table, corner sofa, chairs. Kitchen is large and has big table with all kind of appliances, big bathroom with all needed, extra TV room with sofa, WIFI was fast. You can park on the street with lots of space and by the house. I could easily live daily in such flat! Host is very helpful and fast reaction. It's a 3 km walk to the city centre from the property downhill, also on the half-way there are 2 smaller food stores.

I spent 3 nights there in Dec 2022 and would be happy to stay there again if i revisit Faroe Islands. Central location which is close to bus terminal with supermarkets nearby. Quiet and clean room. Hot shower. Breakfast portion is big enough for me to pack the unfinished sandwich as lunch. The Indian buffet lunch is delicious and reasonably priced even if the options available are relatively limited (considering it is 62 degree N, not India Ocean). Friendly staff shared useful transportation information, and cared about the safety of a lone traveler by reminding me to tell the front desk where i was heading to and the expected return time everyday.

The property did exceed my expectations. Especially from the POV of price. It's cheap yet great. Location is no problem as there are 2 bus stops close to the property that can take you everywhere in the town. Cleanliness was on point. Didn't really interact with the staff but I can say they very well knew of their jobs. The view from all the rooms were just great.

This guesthouse is in south-western Tórshavn, 20 minutes’ walk from the city centre. It offers free parking as well as panoramic views of the Nólsoy fjord. Free WiFi is available in the reception...
