A fantastic stay at Villa Monarque – Elegance, style & warm hospitality We stayed at Villa Monarque in Cap d’Agde at the beginning of July, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The villa is tastefully decorated, every detail is meticulously attended to, and cleanliness is impeccable—a true sanctuary of refinement. Our hosts, Serge and Carole, are two delightful people with a strong sense of style and elegance. Nothing was too much trouble. Their personalized attention made our stay even more special. Carole’s breakfasts each morning were a true sensory experience. Every day, she prepared a delicious surprise (including my favorite, matcha!). One highlight was a Parmesan and bacon panna cotta—one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. But it wasn’t just the breakfast that varied daily and was perfect: the table presentation and décor were absolutely stunning. Every morning felt like being in a “morning paradise.” In short, our stay was so remarkable that we’ll definitely be back next year. Thank you so much, Serge and Carole, for making our first visit to Cap d’Agde so special. Without your care and hospitality, the experience wouldn’t have been the same.

The house is prepared with all details necessary. Even bikes to move around were on site and realizing one has a flat tire, Michel quickly fixed it. Michel has put a lot of love in his house and it's obvious he will do all necessary so your stay is up to expectations.

We booked within an hour of arrival… when we arrived they made space for our large cargo van… and because it was near dinner time… offered to cook us something seven though the restaurant was closed…. Totally amazing hosts!

Wonderful little hotel owned by a lovely couple who live in the same house. There are two bedrooms with very comfortable beds and incredibly soft bed linens. Pets are welcome, which we appreciated a lot. The bathroom was spotless and very convenient, with excellent water pressure in the shower. The room was also equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, and microwave — everything you need for a comfortable stay. In the morning, the hostess brought us an amazing breakfast — definitely make sure to order it! She was extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel is just a five-minute drive from the city center. As for Béziers itself — it was a true discovery! I highly recommend visiting the old town and then stopping by the local market, where you’ll find small restaurants offering delicious food. The foie gras for just 8 euros was just as good as in expensive restaurants, and the selection of local wines is fantastic. Highly recommend both the hotel and the city!

The location was peaceful and cozy Breakfast consisted of freshly squeezed OJ An ample amount of croissants and toast with delicious homemade jams 😋 And a choice of coffee/tea was served in a beautiful dining room. The hostess made us feel very welcome 🤗 A great stopover, when traveling through France to Luxembourg,easy access to beach and motorway We will be back!
