I discovered this place from its glowing reviews on this site, and I am delighted to add my own rave review here. Le Couvent was a marvelous find. From its historic origins to its stunning views, it exceeded our expectations in every way. We enjoyed our walks around the town and the view from the hill above Le Couvent; we had a tasty dinner at the village's one restaurant; and then, after a blissful night's sleep in an elegantly decorated room, we feasted on a healthy and delicious breakfast. We will remember this special place and its warm and welcoming hosts for many years to come.

A very unusual rental. Even if you are not an aficionado of car racing, you cannot but appreciate the many details which have been lovingly assembled in the little lodge. Very friendly and helpful owner. It is a small place but there is everything which you need.

The property has undergone 2 years of renovation and it is superbly finished and furnished. Anna and Etienne were superb hosts. There is an excellent shed perfect for bikes. We ate in and that was a very good decision, the meal was beautifully presented and yummy. Can't speak highly enough of the experience. Thank you.
