The standard of cleanliness throughout was incredible. So much history! Newly renovated rooms tastefully furnished along French Moroccan lines. Central to the Cathedral square and almost alongside the canal. A beautiful clean room with so much character.

This historic building is in a great location only a stones thro from the canal, the centre of Narbonne and the Bourg district. Manuel is a great host and tells you all about the history and you must go up to the tower to take in the views. If the indoor market has a night market then go to it as the atmosphere was tremendous.

It is a very singular place, mainly because it is a historical building and also because of the room decorations, located in the very center of the city. The bathroom and the small kitchen are modern and very functional.

Gem of a property! Apartment was spacious and furnished beautifully. Comfy beds....air conditioning in every room. Management went out of their way to accomodate all of our needs. This is an exceptional property with interesting history too that goes back to the 14th Century. One of the best properties we ever found using Booking. You won't be disappointed!

Very central location in a fully refurbished and fascinating ancient building. Parking in the courtyard is a great option. Room was very large, and with a valuable kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. I found the staff very kind and polite.

This is one of those classic locations where the modernised renovations are hidden behind ancient hoardings. This is classically-restored accommodation with modern bathroom. The rooms are in a converted convent, set behind large steel doors that open onto a spacious courtyard providing off-street parking. Keypad entry is required. We had some issues when our original train was cancelled and we arrived late, but eventually received assistance on site. Elevator services to room, so again, don’t judge the rooms by the genuinely old exterior. Great for privacy and those who appreciate restoration done convincingly and with care. Luggage storage available onsite. Close to shops and facilities, markets etc. Just off the canal. Reasonably close to train station but perhaps not a good walk with heavy luggage.
