Beautiful property and serious hosts made for a wonderful stay. The room was in a guesthouse with good modern appliances and private bathroom. The property overlooks the pines, vines, and olives on the hill of Ventabren in the Pays d'Aix, and is close to the Canal de Marseille, the Aqueduct of Roquefavour, and a local wine producer (all 30-40 min distance walking). There are bus stops after a 20-30 minute walk to go into Aix, with buses passing every hour or so, and a major highway of Provence runs nearby.
