We loved out short stay with Mattieu and Caroline. They were the most welcoming and helpful hosts we have had on our trip so far. Our room was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and more. It was tastefully decorated, incredibly clean, and beautifully presented. We only stayed one night in Avignon as a stop on the way to Paris, but we wished we had stayed longer. Such a charming and unique village with lots of history, great shops, and a wide range of restaurants—we were so pleasantly surprised! The apartment was in a great location too. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Grivolas and be sure to take them up on their offer for breakfast, it was memorable.

For us it is the perfect stopover. The room was on the ground floor and we could unload the luggage right in front of it. A big bonus is the free parking. Breakfast was good with home made yoghurt and fresh fruit, croissants and a selection of jams. It was nice to be able to have breakfast outside on the terrace. We will certainly come back on drive back through France

We had a lovely stay. The property is historical, beautiful, comfortable, well kept and quiet. It was recently renovated and decorated tastefully. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh coffee, fruit, croissant and eggs. The bed was one of the best I have ever slept in and we had a lovely view of the garden. Jean Luc and Valerie were very friendly and helpful and gave us a map with recommendations of what to visit and where to eat. We left feeling relaxed and pampered. We would love to come back next time we are in Avignon.
