We arrived a bit early and they checked us in. We were going to walk around for a bit, but it had started raining. We had a drink in the pub downstairs and that turned into dinner and a few more drinks and before we knew it, it was bedtime. In the morning, we had a Full English breakfast at "our" table, again and then set off to explore the village. We walked around the village and left in the early afternoon.

The pub was a delightful surprise, perfectly capturing the authentic charm of the Cotswolds. Its beautiful interior, adorned with exquisite details, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, with the added luxury of bathrobes. The bathroom was a treat, featuring premium toiletries worthy of a boutique hotel. The welcoming staff and cozy pub made our stay truly special. Also, the pub was remade to the modern standards.

Dave is an excellent host making guests feel very welcome and relaxed. The rooms are exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed. A good choice of breakfast including fresh fruit, cereal, toast and a substantial locally sourced cooked option. Plenty of parking at the guesthouse with an easy walk to to the town. Would not hesitate to recommend Coombe House the attention to detail is second to none.
