Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.

A very warm welcome from Tony who even made room for our motorcycles in his garage.
The room was very clean and well equipped, the biscuits and sweets were a lovely touch.
The breakfast was fantastic and the fresh fruit and homemade yogurt was a real bonus.
Tony's suggestions on where to visit and motorcycle routes were really helpful.
Tony and Sandra were perfect hosts and I would not hesitate to recommend Bronwye guest house

The accomodation was perfect ..the hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive ...comfy bed and lovely quiet location ...lovely little touches such as cold water and fresh milk available from a guest fridge in the breakfast room along with homemade cookies in the room ....the breakfast was amazing something you would expect from a good hotel not what you usually get from a bed and breakfast ...I would highly recommend

Nick and his wife are great hosts, very welcoming. Nick used to be a chef in a fancy restaurant, his breakfast is delicious and you have vast choice of pancakes, eggs, porridge etc included in the rate. We had a nice and quiet room on the second floor. You even get free cookies and they are amazing!
