Great communications, little touches like port and Baileys left out for enjoyment. Also, the area was quiet and perfect location to explore Grasmere. Shower was powerful and the dog settled in brilliantly.

We stayed here for one night as part of our Coast to Coast walk.The room was so spacious with super comfortable bed. Bathroom was also huge with a well sized spa bath. Nice little touches like hot chocolate and biscuits as part of the complimentary tea/coffee in the room. Staff were so friendly. Breakfast buffet was exceptional, with organic and locally sourced ingredients Would have loved to stay an extra night.

SWAN Hotel is so excellent. I like this hotel very much. Clean, quiet, warm and friendly staff, beautiful surrounding environment. Breakfast is great. I like the interior decoration of the hotel very much, with style and a typical rural atmosphere. The bus stop is opposite the hotel, which is very convenient to go anywhere. I will also book this hotel next time when I come to Lake District.

We have just returned from the most wonderful stay at Yewfield. What a stunning setting with a feeling of complete peace and tranquility. The team at the hotel could not have been more friendly or welcoming. The building is beautiful with a cosy and relaxing atmosphere inside. We were fortunate enough to be given an upgrade but both our original room and upgraded room were gorgeous, clean and comfortable with lovely bathrooms. In the room there were teas, coffee, homemade vegan flapjack (divine), and on the landing a communal fridge with different milks available and a great selection of CD, books and DVDs to borrow. The breakfast was outstanding. We would wholeheartedly recommend and cannot wait to return.
