We had a perfect stay at The Windmill. Lovely room, very clean! Good breakfast is also available for a fair price. We enjoyed our vacation there a lot. Also the next underground station is just a 10 minutes walk away so it's super easy to get to the city.

Staying at 40th Avenue was such a nice experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The place has a warm, homely vibe that instantly makes you feel comfortable. My room was clean, quiet, and cozy—nothing fancy, but just right. The bed was comfy, and I appreciated the little touches like fresh towels and a well-kept bathroom. Everything felt thoughtfully taken care of. The host was kind, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a good stay. The location worked out perfectly for me—peaceful, but still close to everything I wanted to see. It was nice coming back to somewhere calm after a day of exploring. Breakfast in the morning was simple but tasty, and there was always tea or coffee available, which I loved. Honestly, I left feeling refreshed and grateful. If you’re looking for a place that’s more personal than a hotel and full of warmth, I’d definitely recommend 40th Avenue

This is an old mansion located in a distinguished street of London, close to Kenwood House castle and park. Northern underground line (East Finchley stop) is within 10-15 min. walking distance. Although the mansion is under renovation, it exceeded our expectations. If you want to experience the fading luxury, then definitely this is the place to go. The property has a big inner garden, and our room also had a big balcony facing to the inner garden. WIFI was very good. In the property there is a big kitchen with refrigerator that we could use. You can check out at 12:00, so there is no rush in the last day. Mike and Shaf are extraordinary guys, they are very helpful. We did not bring with us power supply socket adapter and they provided three brand new ones for us. We asked for an extra blanket, we got it within 10 minutes. We could leave our luggage in the property after check-out while visiting the nearby park before heading to the airport.
