What a view!! Even in winter Hydra is beautiful, and our host told us about which restaurants and bar were open (in low season most of the shops and restaurants are closed, obviously). The room was even better then pictures, as they have upgraded them. Gorgeous! We had to walk some stairs, but it was worthy!

With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces.

We really enjoyed spending our vacation at nereids! It’s beautiful, with friendly staff and with a wonderful view of the city and harbor. It’s at the end of town so nice and quiet but still very close to centre and swimming.

Rebecca was a wonderful host. This gem is in an ideal location in the heart of the old town, 3 to 4 mins walk to the waterfront & all the wonders of Hydra town/Port. Our room was fresh, large, immaculately clean, with a new bathroom. Lovely bed. Option to stay in a downstairs or upstairs room. So if worried about stairs, you have a choice but ask ahead.. You can do your washing! Generous comfortable outdoor terraces, with open outlooks, in front of rooms. You can feel like a local. .

The best view from the top deck for all around Hydra: Port and mountains. Very stylish interiors, with big taste and great design. Quiet place next to port and restaurants, shops. Owner is fantastic, helpfull and very friendly. Hardly recommend You this Unique place. Hydra Icons is realy Icon.
