Exceeded expectations. Very cool design and layout, and somewhere to chill out in the sun, drink, socialise, and hangout in or by the pool. The food is also exceptionally good given the remote location. Perfect location if you want to be close to the entrance for Semuc Champey. Highly recommended, but note that this is a younger + social hostel rather than somewhere for older travellers looking for peace and quiet or families with kids.

Had fears this may be a bit of a party hostel which seemed correct when arrived in the middle of a pool party with music blasting. However that was a one off and all the other nights were bit more relaxed. Always quietened down by around 11pm
The most amazing location in the middle of the jungle 15min walk to the pools, perfect. Loved the style of the place.
Pretty clean and bathrooms decent considering the location.
Arriving in the back of the truck great fun!!
