We loved our spacious room and the high ceilings, the beds were very comfortable. The location is great, a short walk to the Santa Cruz dock. We personally love dogs, so theirs made our stay even better. The owner was helpful.

Even it is not the cheapest place you can get, you most definitely get more than you are expecting. The bathroom was the biggest surprise. It comes with a free standing tub from where you have a really nice view over the lake and the volcano on the opposite lake side!

We had the most amazing stay at the beautiful Nuevo Sol in San Juan. The room was very tidy and clean, the bed was great, the garden was a beautiful oasis of tranquillity and flowers, and the communal kitchen was greatly equipped. Most of all, our hosts Feliciana and Carolina were some of the kindest people we met on our journey. They immediately made us feel at home and answered all our questions about the town and restaurants. Muchas gracias!

The owners are very nice and helpful. I had a pleasant nice time there 🙂 The room was big, the bed was comfortable, and there was a nice big shower with hot water. Beautiful view of the lake and of the mountains from the window and balcony 🙂

I never walked into a guest house where it felt such like home immediately. Mostly thanks to the warm, friendly and helpful staff. Besides that the guesthouse has a cozy living and dining room and a kitchen with everything you need. I wish I could have stayed longer, but will definitely try to come back one day. Our host Helder was exceptional - he made sure we had everything we needed, and he gave us excellent information about the town, available activities, and transportation. San Juan is a relaxing place to stay, and this hostel is a few streets away from the main street, so you have access to everything you need, but you get to live with the locals and have a more authentic experience.
