Beautiful peaceful place in a quaint Bali village, great if you want to see the real Bali. We wanted to have a truly local experience and wow did these guys deliver!! They took us to many fascinating untouristed sites and showed us a side of Bali that I’m sure few tourists ever get to see. Our only regret was that we didn’t book 2 or 3 more nights so we could hang out at this beautiful villa. (The guest rooms are spotlessly clean and all have incredible views of the rice terraces surrounding the villa.) We just loved the place. Pak Yandi: You’re a wonderful man. Nobody can beat your service, your kindness, and the way you show sincere interest in people! You made us feel very special. We will always remember the laughter we shared and the loving care of you and your staff! Keep up the good work and we surely will be back soon. Love from us in Perth.

Cempaka was a really nice experience for us. It is situated slightly north of the busy center of Ubud, making it a great base for sightseeing. The room was stylish & cozy, and the view on the swimming pool was nice. The swimming pool itself was lovely too! A great place to come back to after a day trip or activity in Ubud center. The laundry service exceeded all expectations and the driver they recommended was really nice as well. We asked a lot of questions and learnt a lot during the drive. Pak Kadek was a splendid host. He was very considerate and helpful with all the questions we had. We had the luck that a special ceremony was taking place in the nearby temple while we were there. Pak Kadek brought us along and guided us through the experience and Ibu Niwayan made sure we dressed respectable & traditional. We feel very lucky and grateful for that experience and their hospitality. This place is definitely recommended! Lastly: ask accommodations and drivers directly instead of through platforms if you can. A driver can recommend an accommodation and vice versa. It makes a big difference for them and their community.

I loved the villa, it’s even better than you see in the photos, it’s practically new, it hasn’t been more than three months and it has incredible views, in addition to having very good restaurants and spa around the area, they have excellent customer service and help you with everything, they even rent the motorcycle right there, very good food, they also have varied options for breakfast, I would definitely come back highly recommended.
